When Do You Know To Give Up? (Annotated By Kobe Bryant)

At what point do you feel like your holding on, holding on, holding on to something that’s not there. At what point do your determination and drive become unreasonable for something that’s just not possible?

When do you know? When does that moment happen — when do you know, now’s the time to let go, this is the moment to walk away. Do you ever truly know that? I don't think you do. I don't think there’s ever a moment which is the right moment. I don't know if that moment ever comes.

But if I have to sit there and face myself, and tell myself “your’re a failure”
I think that’s — that’s almost worse than death.
