Dear Alexander #007: It’s People That Matter Most…Not Information

It’s usually the people that are the unlock and key to your next step rather than more information. You never know who that person you just rolled up on and said ‘hello’ to might be. It’s easy to discriminate on face value — try not to because that person could become one of the most important people in your life in 1,5, 10 years time.

Sparking new relationships and cultivating current ones will most likely be something you heavily reflect on your deathbed. At the end of journey you’ll probably forget nearly everything…but you will remember the impact you had on people, and the impact they on had on you.

When you were a teenager you would complain about people, you uttered phrases to the effect of.

“I don’t like people”

A lot of thing’s have changed since.

When you begin thinking you don’t need people anymore, you start going backwards. The best decisions you will make in your life will probably be about the people you shared your journey with.

It’s not about you. It’s about people and the relationships you build. Don’t forget that.
